The companies form the Pfeifer  &  Langen Group in Poland – a group that is responsible for the production, coordination of sales and distribution to individual and industrial customers of white sugar, cane sugar and sugar assortment marked with the “Diamant” brand as well as feed of the “Tofi” brand.

2. WHERE DO WE GET YOUR DATA FROM, FOR WHAT PURPOSES AND TO WHAT EXTENT DO WE PROCESS PERSONAL DATA?

 

  1. On the pfeifer-langen.pl website (hereinafter: the Website), we do not collect any data directly from you. Through the website, however, you can go to the dedicated eRecruiter portal, where you can apply for a job in our Group, to the liz.pl service, dedicated to our planters, or to the diamant.pl website where we sell our products. At the same time, each of these websites has its own privacy policies informing about the rules of data processing.
  2. In addition, as part of this Website, we process information about your IP number and the device you use to ensure the smooth functioning of our Website. In addition, we use cookies that involve the processing of data on the use of the Internet, which we write about later in this Policy.

Important information for you is that if you block cookies other than necessary, you will not affect the use of the Website in any negative way.

  • Profile information: is collected by observing the user’s browsing habits. Thanks to this information, it is possible to present, i.e. tailored to the needs and interests of the user based on the history of search on the Internet.
  • Device information, e.g. device ID, MAC address, IP address, operating system, device settings, in particular the language set, screen resolution, type of web browser), mobile device, desktop computer (so-called non-obvious personal data).

The administrator uses third-party advertising platforms, such as Facebook and Google, to present to the user its ads arranged based on the user’s behavior and browsing behavior. Thanks to this, the administrator can conduct more effective advertising activities. Information about  the user is shared with third-party advertising platforms, which will match the user profile in their database to determine the optimal time and place (the website viewed) for the display of the administrator’s ads. 4. ON WHAT LEGAL BASIS DO WE PROCESS YOUR DATA?

 

The legal basis for processing your data depends on the purpose for which we process it:

  2. All your data that we have as joint data controllers are also processed for marketing purposes with reference to the legitimate interest of the personal data controller. Marketing purposes include, in particular, presenting you with offers and promotions that we believe may be of interest to you, as well as other information promoting the “Diamant” brand and the offer of our website. The right to access your personal data

Right to rectification

If you become aware that the data we process is incorrect, you have the right to ask us to correct it and we will be obliged to do so. In this case, we have the right to ask you to provide some document or other evidence of the change of data.

 

Right to restriction of processing

If, despite our application of the adequacy rule, you consider that for a specific process we process too wide a catalog of your personal data, you have the right to request that we limit this scope of processing. Unless your request contradicts the requirements imposed on us by applicable law, or is not necessary for the performance of the contract, we will comply with your request.

 

Right to request deletion

This right, also known as the right to be forgotten, means your right to request that we remove from our database systems and from our records any information containing your personal data. Remember that we will not be able to do this if we are obliged by law to process your data (e.g. transaction documents for tax purposes, warranty obligation, obligation to ensure the accountability of our activities). In any case, however, we will delete your personal data to the fullest extent possible, and where this is not possible, we will ensure its  pseudonymization (which means that it is impossible to identify the data subject without an appropriate link key), so that your data, which we must keep in accordance with applicable law, will be available only to a very limited circle of people in our organization.

 

Right to data portability to another data controller

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation, you can ask us to export the data that you have provided to us in the course of all our contacts and all cooperation to a separate file, in order to further transfer them to another data controller.

In this case, we will answer your questions and doubts and immediately address the issue.

 

If you consider that we have violated the rules for the processing of your personal data in any way, you have the right to lodge a complaint directly with the supervisory authority (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa). As part of the exercise of this right, you should provide a full description of the situation and indicate what action you consider to violate your rights or freedoms. The complaint must be submitted directly to the supervisory authority.

 

6. WHAT IS THE RIGHT TO OBJECT?

 

Separately, we would like to inform you that you also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data.
